Quick Apply 2 hours ago Full Job Description Join our Weston Care Team! The Director of Nursing is responsible for planning, directing, implementing, and improving nursing services within our 44-bed skilled nursing facility and providing leadership and vision for all nursing staff.
To qualify for the Director of Nursing, you must have effective communication skills and be able to work and lead a team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent and a graduate of an approved RN school with a current PA state license.
Strong assessment and management skills related to the medical and personal care needs of residents.
Effective leadership, management, and delegation skills.
Physically able to perform direct care functions as may be required.
Organized, detail-oriented and self-motivated.
Effective communications skills with all levels of management, staff, residents, guest and consultants.
Knowledge of Skilled Nursing regulations as well as Federal, State and Local regulations.
Strong multitasking skills.
Broad knowledge of medications.
Ability to supervise and motivate others.
Ability to work under supervision.
Ability to work with other medical professionals.
Ability to maintain accurate, detailed, and legible records.
Ability to exercise judgment and to make quick decisions.
Show the ability to deal with emergencies quickly and efficiently.
